The Last House on the Left
Really rather unnecessary, really rather horrible (but toned down in comparison to its predecessor), really rather slick, really rather satisfying remake of a Wes Craven Original video nasty.

The Hangover (full review)
Laugh-out-loud-a-minute, The Hangover is the perfect combination of the frat boys comedy styling that has been champion of the big screen comedies of late and the con-com (controversial-comedy) that is currently breaking out and challenging its stranglehold upon the mainstream. Hilarious.

Terminator Salvation (full review)
Salvation is a four-star future shock action-war epic, but only a three-star Terminator brand-name feature. Not the disaster many predicted, but something’s missing that means for whatever reason it doesn’t quite have that “Terminator” feel that even the much-maligned third instalment managed.
